HORRIBLE. Tried to use 4 different bags & only 1 would vacuum seal. That one leaked air even after retrying several times to get it to hold the vacuum. The other 3 wouldn’t vacuum air out at all. What a disappointment - 30 bags of trash. Ended up using FoodSaver bags which were more expensive but they worked!

Just make sure you place the vacuum sealer FLAT and that the bag is fully sealed I gave fruit n veggies til Passover!

I bought these to use with my hand held food vacuum. They work very well and suck all the air out of the bag. I am amazed how little space they take up in the freezer compartment compared to food in a regular freezer bag. These bags will not let the food get freezer burn.

I've been using these bags for a few years, buying chicken breast in bulk and then vacuum-packing single portions in individual bags for the freezer, but have always found them frustratingly fiddly and unreliable. My most recent order was, I believe, entirely defective.I'd previously been using a little rechargeable mini vacuum unit from Vicarko to seal the bags, but due to the fiddly experience and the fact that they'd simply die on me after about a year (I went through two of them), switched to the FoodSaver version, thinking it might give a better experience. It didn't.In all cases, getting the air valves to actually engage, allowing air to flow out of the sealed bag into the vacuum, is an arbitrary and hair-pulling exercise. Press the vacuum to the valve, hit the power button, see zero deflation in the bag; pick up the vacuum, reposition it, try again; shift the bag around, check the zipper seal, scratch your head, try again. Very occasionally it might work on the first try, but more common is that each bag will take several attempts, and there's absolutely no clear reason or obvious feedback to understand what was different about a successful attempt compared to one that failed. This turns what should be a quick operation of maybe 20 seconds for each bag drag out into multiple minutes; and when you're vacuum-packing a few pounds of chicken breast that wasted time adds up, as does the level of frustration.I've mostly put up with it because the bags are relatively cheap and, when they actually work, provide a great protection from freezer burn and really help prolong the life of my food and bring down my grocery cost. But the experience of using these bags was never good.My most recent order, however, seems to be entirely defective. No amount of fiddling and shifting and prodding and re-trying could get any amount of air to deflate through the valves. That FoodSaver vacuum does seem a little less powerful than the Vicarko units I'd previously used, so I thought *maybe* the weaker vacuum was the issue and tried bringing out the big guns by using an actual vacuum cleaner. Still no luck. Tried pressing down on the bags to squeeze the air a bit so that there'd be positive pressure pushing on the inside of the valve to compliment the negative pressure of the vacuum on the outside. No luck. Tried multiple bags from this most recent batch. Same issue with all of them. Tried peeling off the air valve on one of the bags and replacing it with one of the spare valves they give you with the bags. No difference. They just simply do not work.I'm giving these two stars instead of one because the altogether-defective batch I just received does seem to be an outlier; I've been ordering these bags for a while and never had a batch just flat out refuse to work. But even when they weren't outright defective, they never worked WELL.So now I guess I'm on the lookout for an alternative brand. Don't think I'll be buying these again. Put up with fiddly and frustrating for a couple of years, but if they can't even reliably meet that very low bar, I'm done.

I love the price which is probably the best on the web with the similar quality comparing to other brands. This one doesn't have the brand name, nor has the fancy package but many good bags. To be honest, if you don't want to reuse the bags over and over again, you probably can't tell the difference.
