This food vacuum sealer is a first for us. We have seen advertisements on television and were interested, but it wasn't until now that we took the plunge. I researched several brands before ordering this model.As for sealing our foods, we use it exclusively for freezing expensive meats and fish, but we also use it for special fruits and vegetables. We have not had any freezer burn, which means no air is seeping inside and all of it was vacuumed out. We started with large cuts, and then started sealing individual meals. Sealing food is convenient and saves money, but it also helps with planning meals. Using this isn't quite a lifestyle change for us, but it is fun to use and it could be a great experience for others as well. I like that I can create my own bags or easily "load and seal." In the three months of use, no seal has ever broken and food always tastes great.The buttons are the top are clearly labeled and perform specific functions. There are only five buttons; dry/moist, seal only, auto vac/seal, vac manual, and canister. It has plenty of power - there is no sign of it struggling to vacuum out air - and it is super easy to use. The large handle and solid construction make a very good impression. The set includes 10 bags, two rolls of bags, and a vacuum hose (for sealing jars). I can see us using this for many years to come. Excellent product!!!

I've used a few sealers in my 60+ years, and none of them have been "great" or "easy to use", but this one is one of the better ones. It does a decent job, doesn't fail very often, and uses standard seal-a-meal consumables. It's a little on the pricey side, but I's say that the job it's doing probably rates that price point.I really have no complaints about it, so if you can get past the price, I'd recommend it.

We buy a lot of our meat in bulk and freeze it. This is a quality upgrade over freezer ziplock bags! It took a bit for my husband to figure everything out, but the instructions were clear and a little reading had him vacuum sealing. The set includes precut bags and a roll you can cut to size. Both work well, but he decided he likes cutting to size in his own best. There is a wet setting, but you cannot seal liquids (soups/broths). I think this will work best for meats which is also what we wanted it for, so it's perfect for us!

I'm resigned to all of them pooping out eventually. This one seems pretty solid. Does the job nicely. The back cutter design is a little weird but it works. Hopefully it's more resilient than the rest. Even if it isn't, still a good value.
