This drafting chair arrived well protected and in new condition inside of a branded box. Assembly was easy with the help of the well-written instructions. The build quality is on par. It is a very comfortable chair with adjustable height. I particularly like the ergonomic factor. Overall, I would recommend.

Just purchased for my high school son. He needs spending a lot of time seating there to finish the homeworkers..This chair is perfectly for him. Very comfortable and sturdy. He doesn’t said feel back hurts after few hours seating there . Also it’s so great for adjusting to different height tables.

This chair assembles in much the same way as other drafting chairs. The main differences from a conventional desk chair are the foot ring and the much longer travel of the gas lift.In common with a lot of office chairs, the hardest part of the assembly is getting the base to attach to the combined back and arms. It is normal for this to be awkward and this chair is no exception, though I have known others that were far worse than this one. Aside from that, assembly is very straightforward.I can't give this five stars. The fit of the parts is not as good as it should be, though this will mainly be apparent to the builder, not the person who sits on it; you can get chairs with smoother lifting arms; and there is a 250 lb weight limit (you can find this in the manual, but not on the Amazon page! This should have been made clear on Amazon. If I was building this for myself I would have had to send it back!)But even at the regular price, and even with those limitations, this chair is very good value for money.
