Iuse this for the long ears and feathering on my sussex Spaniel and the mid length parts of my Great Pyreness - especially around the ears and throat. Well made. It does the job.

My aussie shepherd has a medium length double coat on her torso so the teeth on this is too short.

Got this after going to the vet because my overweight cat could not clean her back and she looked like a spiked dinosaur of hairy mats all down her spine! The vet raked them right out, and she was on her way. I had to have one! And now I have an Irish setter puppy with beautiful red fur that just loves to be raked out with this awesome brush!

Great tool for getting rid of the undercoat that is shedding like crazy after winter. I wished it was bigger but that was one me for getting this size. It is the size I had for my border collie and it was perfect. Now I have a rescue dog and he is 120 LB and has med long hair. He was supposed to be a lab mix but his hair is way to long and he is huge. He loves to be combed with this. After I am finished there is enough hair on the ground to make another dog. If I go inside before picking it all up the birds will have the hair scattered collecting it for nest. This tool really helps with removing the loose hair. Thanks.

I just adopted an Old English Sheepdog mix, and had no clue how to manage the coat. I ordered the Pet Republique dog comb, and a different one from a different company (that costed $4 dollars more). Between the 2 combs, this is my 'go to' comb. It works wonderfully! I have smaller hands and this fits my grip nicely without getting fatigued, and the black rubber around the handle is great if your hand gets sweaty. It was a very good value for the price! Yes, I have already recommended this rake to others telling them how well the dog comb/rake works for me and showing the results (mounds of dead hair) as proof. Thanks for a very nice product! ( I did borrow a friends furminator, and didn't like it at all! In my opinion, save your money and buy this rake, works just as good).
