My old locking mailbox was broken into—way too easily. I think they used a small crow bar but the lock was so wimpy it didn’t take much to pop it open.This new one is so much stronger. I don’t think a crowbar will break it. It’s a monster. Very heavy. I went to HD Pro desk for instructions to install myself—they pre drilled the holes for me. It’s really big and can take some smaller packages as well. Really well designed. It’s so heavy that it would have been nice to have two people but I did manage it by myself.

After having my mail stolen multiple times, AND having my mailbox bashed several times, we ordered this. Locks great to protect our mail, and also is super tough. Large-sized, so small packages are easily handled.I recommend a small flashlight on your key-ring, because it is a little difficult to find the keyhole on a dark night!But this product is great!

This is a great mailbox. It is very sturdy and big enough to hold small packages. I had to return mine because it was not compatible with my bracket, but I would have liked to keep it
