This is a cute little item and we use it in our office for both M&Ms and jelly beans. However, the little lever that lets you dispense the candy breaks easily. I think we are on our third or fourth dispenser. We like it and it works...for a while. Anyone who purchases this item should be prepared to replace it after a while. Sometimes it lasts quite some time, other times it breaks quickly.

I bought this for our candy table for our wedding. The candy dispenser is very elegant and good quality I will get many years of use out of the candy dispenser.

I'vd owned this for two years. I eat A LOT of M&Ms at work. I use this for all sizes and types of M&Ms. It looks great on my desk and has held up to the dozens of people using it every day for the past two years. Before buying it, I thought it would be too small, but I was wrong. It is the right size for my desk and it will hold one large bag of m&ms of any kind.It dispenses a consistent amount of several peices each time the lever is pulled. The larger the candy, the less peices dispensed. It's never gotten jammed nor has candy ever gotten stuck in it.It's easy to fill and clean. It's very sturdy and the base is heavy. I have no concerns that it will fall over. The bottom has felt to protect the surface where it sits. The globe is very clear and appears to be glass to me. The metal is shiny but does not retain fingerprints and has not tarnished in two years.I'm VERY, VERY happy with this purchase and so were all of my co-workers. I wish I would've bought it sooner than I did. I would definately recommend this to anyone if they want a small candy dispenser that looks elegant, easy to use, easy care for and durable.
