If you want something classy for stand alone this is not it but this is great to be placed between furniture or in an inconspicuous place

I was a bit worried when I first opened the box because of all the tubes and plastic pieces. I thought the plastic end pieces would surly break. I followed the directions which were relatively easy and after some forcing the metal rods into the holes on the plastic, it held tightly. I actually used the heel of a shoe to hammer the pieces together, but a rubber mallet would have been helpful. The horizontal pieces fit into the frames easily, but the vertical ones took some forcing.I ended up dividing it into 2 sections, which worked fine for me. I may need to purchase another set to add on if needed, but IMO, this was worth the money. Sturdy after assembled and held my normal sneakers and dress shoes without any problems.

Dislike it. Would recommend not to buy it! Waste of money.

This narrow shoe rack does its job and holds my shoes well, but it came with too many pieces to assemble. It also shifts a bit when I pull my shoes out. Not perfect, but it works.

I had a hard time finding a shoe each that somewhat hides the shoes from the seating area of our small living room. The previous shelf I ordered was too big and bulky for the small space, so I returned it. But this one is slim and lightweight. It took a long time to put together- over an hour, but can easily be done by one person. All the parts worked well together. I like the look, now we will wait to see if it holds up to daily use. I sprayed it down with repellent Schotchguard to help it be more stain resistant.
