This is the first time I’ve ever sent a bad review. The sizing is insane. My son is 4’11” and 90 lbs. Literally everything he owns is size 12. The padded liner (labeled 12) is at least a size 16 equivalent; they don’t even catch on his hips. The shell (labeled 12) is more like a size 8, maybe 10. He can barely get them snapped. How they are to fit, much less fit together, is beyond me.

Outer shorts were way too small for the size. The padded skirts fit ok.

Padding is great for the price. Pants will wear out fairly quickly. Maybe you should look elsewhere if your kid is an avid mountain biker but decent for less frequent use

Grandson loved them. they fit well. not as soft as i thought they would be but seem very durable.
