I think my min pin puppy is crazy. She can't (or won't) focus. She doesn't come to us or calm down. She slips out of the house and runs like a racehorse for miles. We're so lucky she hasn't been hit by a car or just plain lost forever. I researched several options for help with training and settled on this one because of the small size (puppy weighs 11 pounds). It's fantastic! I have it set on the beep most of the time and that seems to remind her of what is expected of her. I've had to set it on the vibrate setting just a couple of times and that really gets her attention. I have never used the shock setting. She is convinced that her Wiggle Kingdom collar makes her prettier and gets very excited to put it on. I do charge it for a couple of hours every two or three days and I've had to pair the receiver to the remote after letting the battery get run down. This collar has helped get her to focus (slightly) and she's learning how to mind a little better. She's a COVID puppy and didn't get socialized like she should have so this collar was really worth the money. Take the time to read the instructions (I know) and don't put it on your puppy too tight. I don't use the prong covers because then I'd have to turn the vibrate setting on full blast to get her attention. The prongs just have to be touching the skin, not pushed into it. VERY happy with this purchase.

This product is well built and simple to use. The remote has only 5 buttons, but you'll really only use 4. Switching between each mode only takes one tap and going through each will be quick and easy - a child could do it (but please don't let children play with this).The buttons are also quite responsive, so if you need to switch, for example, from tone to shock, two quick taps will get you there easily. While some folks might find this to be inconvenient, a huge benefit is that you'll be less likely to accidentally shock your pet, and anyone who genuinely loves their pet and wants to use this for training purposes will find that to be a great feature. Overall, I think it's a fantastic design that keeps your pet's safety in mind.I'm going to say that the price seems a bit steep. At the same time, for the quality build of this product, I think it'll last and will be worth it. I'm not a huge fan of the charger that comes with it and wish it were just a USBC or micro-USB plug, but whatever. Just don't lose that charging cable and you'll be fine.Finally, I want to mention that the shock this product delivers will be uncomfortable, but not particularly painful. Don't get me wrong, your pet WILL notice it. That said, I was able to place the device against my skin at its maximum setting and hold it until it automatically shut off (another nice feature) without major pain. I definitely felt it, but it was very much a "discomfort" more than a pain.Anyway, I think this is a great product that's well built. If you have a small dog, this is going to be one of the best options out there.

Just got it and the fact that you don't have hard buttons to trigger the tone and shock individually is terrible product design. You're forced to change the mode back and forth between tone and shock. Returning it.

I would not repurchase this e-collar. It does not maintain contact no matter how tight it is. I believe it also has trouble staying connected to the remote. I was able to turn it up to the max on the shock setting and my you could tell that my dog did get any shock. This is on a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Her coat is not thick and this was a waste of my money.

I love the size of this, we have really small dogs and the other collars just looked mean or scary on them. This unit is very compact and it has great battery life. This gets the job done without looking like something scary. When we go out most people dont even notice the collar and it isnt in the way during playtime. We are very happy with how effective this has been for training our dog and we have all been much happier now that most of the bad behaviors have been addressed.
