We got this as a family gift for Christmas and have used it a number of times. The kids love the building tray. It makes breakfast extra fun and special. The machine is easy to use and 1 sheet of building blocks is more then enough for 1 serving. I have made waffles with fruit and chocolate chips and there is no burning and no sticking. Easy clean up with it cools down as well.

Gave this as a gift to a 5 year old. Loves it. Easy to assemble waffles on the included base plate. Might have to bake far more waffle pieces than a child can eat to construct a “building,” so freeze them. When first using, be careful not to overfill the unit. Overall very satisfied.

In order to properly fill the "brick" indentations, you need to water down the batter with some water, to make it runnier. No problem; just cook longer, until the steam stops coming out. Also, the resulting waffle pieces are thicker than ordinary waffles, so most of the pieces will be played with, not eaten.
