I replaced the underlining on my couch with this and it worked out great. I just folded it and cut what wasn’t needed and stapled it in place. Easier said than done but was just what I was looking for since the old one had fell through

Wow, nice heavy material. Easy to work with. Replaced old cover on bottom of chair.

This dust cover is thicker than the manufacturer's original dust cover. It looks nice, and was easy to install. I just needed a pair of scissors and an Upholstery Staple Gun Heavy Duty, YEAHOME 4-in-1 Stapler Gun with 4000 Staples, Manual Brad Nailer Power Adjustment Stapler Gun for Wood, Crafts, Carpentry, Decoration DIY. My original cover wasn't completely torn. For that reason, it was easier for me to keep the original on (and not have to remove staples) and just staple this over it. Worked perfectly!

We recently noticed that our nine year old sectional sofa bed was creating black stains on the carpet. The stains were a dense black dust caused by the sofa's bottom fabric that had rotted due to age. Such irony -- the sofa's "dust cover" was causing a ton of dust! All the bad fabric broke into small pieces when we pulled on it. It was removed and after a thorough vacuuming the bad areas were replaced with new cambric fabric. This material was easy to install. Very sturdy, but cleanly cuts with scissors and/or utility knife. Fast installation using a heavy duty Bostitch hand stapler (see photo for what I used). All edges were folded-under before stapling which helped achieve a factory/professional appearance. One big panel under the pull-out bed section was only half bad. So I cut off the deteriorated fabric and glued new cambric to it using 3M 77 spray adhesive. The old and new material securely bonded together and the result is as strong as a single panel (see photo).Pros: Low cost, sturdy, basic DiY skills to install. YOU can do it!Cons: None so far, happy with this purchase.
