The U'Artlines Office Chair Mat is perfect for protecting my hardwood floor under my beading desk! It works exactly as I hoped. Initially, I thought I’d place it sideways, but I quickly realized it’s much more effective when positioned lengthwise under the desk.The mat stays in place and doesn’t slide around, which is a huge plus. It’s also super easy to vacuum, keeping my workspace neat and clean. Just a heads-up—the packaging mentions it’s not designed for carpeted floors, so keep that in mind if you’re considering it for a different surface.

This under-chair mat is nice. I love the grey color and it is a great size! It covers a wide area, which is perfect for me, because I frequently have to “wheel” myself to my file cabinets and back throughout the day. So this mat covers the whole area of my “trip” without me rolling off the mat.The reason I deducted a star, is that after only one day of use, the very edge of the mat (on the side I used the most) is already “shedding” pieces of carpet fibers. (See photo). I don’t know if it’s because it’s new, or if it’s just not that well made and falling apart. I will have to keep an eye on this. I’ve typically used clear floor mats and have never used a carpet one, so it may just be my lack of familiarity with this type of product. I will update the review after I’ve used it for a longer period of time.Overall, I’m happy with this mat and would recommend it…well just have to see how it holds up.

I have a workshop in my garage where I make jewelry. I have an office chair at a long desk. Since the chair has wheels and the garage floor is cement, the chair slides ALL over the place at the slightest movement. I put this mat under the chair and immediately felt the difference it was going to make. I no longer feel like I'm going to fall and break my neck every time I stand up or try to sit back down in the chair. At less than $20 (at the time of this review) I feel like this anti-slip mat is a great value.

The instructions on this Matt offer several idea, ideas of how to flatten it out, including ironing it rolling at the opposite direction, etc. Mine did not come, rolled up as the pictures show. Mine came folded, regardless of the creases. It was less than a day before it was usable and completely flat. It is very light and slides around a little bit more than I would like, but I’m feeling that some carpet tape might fix this problem.
