Great product! Fast shipping, packaged well, and works as intended.I'm using these bags on a Nesco VS-12 deluxe vacuum sealer that I bought on wayfair because it wasn't available on Amazon at the time I wanted one.I see alot of people saying the big bags worked fine, but the small ones didn't. I relate alot of issues people have with vacuum bags/machines, to user error. My machine says to wait 1 minute between sealings. So people who are saying the bags dont seal, are probably not following the recommendations for their machine. Read your owners manual, (noone does this anymore), and you will enjoy years of use out of a product.User error is a major contributor to bad performance, and reviews in many products. If you purchase a quality product, be sure to read owners manual, install, and use it accordingly, then you should have minimal issues if any.Nothing wrong with these vacuum sealer bags!

These are quality bags for a good price but if you're going to put in a free, unadvertised bonus item, don't have it be broken. I was stoked to find the little magnetic marker which would be very handy for labeling but it was dried out and wouldn't write on the bags. I would have been happier if the item simply came as advertised without a useless piece of plastic that created extra waste.

Caveat Emptor: This review based on using the Food VacBags in FoodSaver Model V3425. Other Foodsaver models may work differently (at lease in my experience they have!). These bags worked for me, I recommend other model owners buy a test order of 8" and 11" bags to be sure they work in your own machine.I've looked far and wide to escape the FoodSaver bag proprietary hold on bag functionality. With these bags, I have found that option. I put these bags through the food vacuum storage bag boot camp. They performed perfectly in different trials/tests, channel side up, or down or custom sized bags corner cut along the factory side seal and resealed at an angel. No issues. They seem to vacuum and seal faster than the proprietary bags but the seal and vacuum are just as good. With functionality proven, the Economics are sweet. Here's a comparison of price per foot of three storage bag options: Ziplock 1 gallon bag (I use this as a baseline price...if you can vacuum bag at this price, you do better than non-vacuum baggers at the same price, sans the machine); 2) FoodSaver Bags; and, 3 Food VacBags. I use the roll pricing because that's what I buy, the pre-cut bags I just don't work for me. All pricing is based on Amazon prices with prime membership.Ziplock 10.75" bags, 60 count box on Amazon works out to about $.14 cents a foot, or $.12/bag. (Amazon pricing)Food Saver bags: 11" x 16', 3 pack - $.58 cents per foot8" x 20', 6 pack - $.27.9 cents per footFood Vac Bags: 11" x 50', 2 pack - $.20 cents per foot - 65.7% SAVINGS OVER FOOD SAVER8" x 50', bulk - $.13 per foot (gets really close to ziplock in price, though smaller width)Food VacBags also have other widths that are not available from Foodsaver, 6" and 15". I may opt for some of both in the future!!I've not tested the expandable bags from Food VacBag but I have a commercial interest in using them. The proprietary FoodSavers have been my only option up to this point. I do custom bacon smoking and cure each pork belly in an expandable bag for 7-10 days. FoodSaver costs me about $.68 cents a foot. VacBags are .50 cents, but they also have the 15" bags that would probably work better...and those are .40 cents a foot. Each pork belly uses about 2 ft of bag so my costs add up when you consider how much bacon and other smoked meats I process.Summary: VacBags are my new go-to food storage and processing bag. If you use a foodsaver a lot, you need to try these bags. If you don't use a foodsaver because of the prohibitive cost of the bags, these bags will perhaps get you to use it more often...vacuum storage DOES save in terms of preventing food losses!!I'll update this review if something changes my option. I've not received any promotional free stuff or other compensation from Food Vacbags or anyone else to write this review.

I use vacuum sealed bags almost exclusively for sous vide cooking. these are clearly the equal of the Foodsaver brand rolls in terms of quality, if not better - I've had zero issues with leakage or anything really - the heated sealer in my sealer works fine, doesn't stick, etc. I have the inexpensive version of the Foodsaver vacuum, so the bag rolls aren't held inside and it doesn't cut them - I do it freehand with scissors - and a nice sharp pair of scissors cut these easily, like a razor knife - no need to open and close, etc.About the only improvement I could suggest is for someone like me who cuts their own using scissors and is admittedly not great with straight lines - if the bags had little marks on each side it would be easier to make a straight cut free handed. That being said, I can't lower the rating because I cut like a kindergartner, and I've actually never ruined a bag with my crooked cuts, so don't let that dissuade you from buying these. I like the package with two different widths - very versatile.

These rolls are fantastic, very good value for the quality, and they work flawlessly every time. I purchased these rolls a while ago and have already used most of the smaller roll, of which I will be ordering two 8 inch rolls from the same seller as I am very happy with them. Now that I have used them to seal food, freeze for a period of time, and reheat, I can confidently review them. The embossing allows my Foodsaver to easily extract air from the bags and the seals are always perfect, even when a little bit of liquid or food matter makes its way into the sealing area. They hold up when reheating in boiling water and will make quite a loud pop if you forget to pierce the bag when reheating/cooking in the microwave. The bag has never melted, smelled, or imparted any odors or flavors into the food.I have also used the bags to seal dry goods like flour, pancake mix, sugars, and more..some of the items in the cardboard boxes it came in and the bags are heavy enough that package corners will not pierce it. The bags are durable enough that you can easily reuse large bags for smaller and smaller items maximizing your investment.Dont hesitate to buy.
