The fork fit perfect and looks to be great quality. It did not include the "star nut" to connect the step cap to the fork.

I've put about 50 km on it so far and haven't needed to see a dentist, so I'd say it's pretty strong. I weigh 200 lbs, so I was a bit worried. Installed on a Genesis Bohe (Kent) gravel frame.I went with the middle size (27.5") in order to raise the front of my bike and effectively raise my stack height to get the handlebars up higher for a more comfortable riding position. The 26" size would be closer to what stock was as shown in a different review, but the 27.5" size is closer to what it would be like if I put a suspension fork on and it doesn't look too ridiculous with the extra clearance above the tire. Comes with a low-profile bearing race for the bottom headset bearing that sits real low against the crown, so what happened was I had to take the plastic dust seal out of the headset stack so that the bearings would sit flush against the races and to prevent any binding when the stack is preloaded with the compression plug. Used "Origin8 3K Weave Ahead Fusion Expander Compression Plug 1-1/8", Black" and I highly recommend it.Only one complaint. There was a bit of paint or epoxy in the threads of the disc brake caliper mount. I cleaned it out with a sacrificial bolt after I found my tap to be cutting too aggressively. Came right out then used my good bolts to torque up. The mount is aligned properly to the rotor, so no issues there like some others have said.

I purchased this fork to replace a suspension fork on my hybrid bike so that I could keep pace with road bikes during RAGBRAI 2023 which was a 500 mile bike tour across Iowa. I was very satisfied with this fork as it looks nice and was 3lbs lighter than the suspension fork. It handled well and absorbed the bumpy Iowa roads without issue.

If you are handy, do it. After installing the fork the disc was rubbing, not side to side but the brake unit was too close to the disc, after two washers to space it out a little, everything works well!Happy camper with my new forkThank you for a great product!!

Much lighter than the suspension fork I had on my bike (4-1/2 lbs). Fork was easy to install on the bike. The only problem I encountered was that the mounting pads for the disk brakes were not square to the fork which made the brake pads crooked to the rotor. Since the mounting pads are aluminum I took a smooth metal file and got them square and the caliper is now square to the rotor.
