Llevo sombrero desde hace muchos años y éste es el mejor, como tiene un ala bastante ancho, cubre toda la cara, es ligero y transpirable, espero que dure muchos años.

The hat is well made and the air flow through the mesh on the crown is amazing. The air flow is so good, it almost feels like your not wearing a hat when the breeze flows through. I tried on several Tilley hats in a local store but they didn't have the wider brim in the color I wanted. The 7 3/8" hat fit the best in the store. The ordered hat fits just slightly tighter than I expected. I still love the hat and would highly recommend it!

I am just echoing what many reviewers here have already said more elegantly than I: this is a nicely styled hat, they run a tad large for the sizing (my 7-1/2 head fits this hat, but it's not snug in any way). From the pictures and description, I expected the brim to be a tad larger than it actually is. I think it will do a fine job shading my ears and face, but it won't be quite as protective as I thought for my neck. I'll update this review after I put it to the test in the Texas sun! The mesh is much more "closed" than my prior hat, so the UPF "50+" rating looks realistic - again, I'll update the review after a more brutal test than I've given it so far. Finally, I wanted to say that the seller that fulfilled this order (Avalanche Brands) did a terrific job packing and shipping this hat - the box didn't squeeze the hat, crown or brim in any way, and the hat was packed with paper to keep its shape. It arrived ready to go without a trace of shipping damage, which was behind the very few low-rated reviews I saw. I am very pleased.
