My main purpose in writing a review of this nori container is to let prospective buyers know that if you put a small desiccant packet in the lower portion of the box, and then keep the nori in the top portion, he nori does stay crispy, at least for approximately 2 weeks.Before purchasing this nori container I thought that it's price was very high for such a simple product. Also, there's the one, not-so-convenient fact that if you are buy a typical package of square sheet nori, please know that you must fold the nori in half to fit it into the rectangular box. Still, if you like to include nori in your diet and can afford the one-time cost of the stainless container as well as the cost of the desiccant packets, your sheets of nori will stay crisp for at least 10 days or more. (I am using a new desiccant packet each time I open a new pakage of 10 sheets of nori, though perhaps a longer use of each packet is possible.)To return nori to a crisp state, many people simply pass a sheet of nori over the open flame of a stove's gas burner. But I have an induction electric stovetop - not a gas stove - and therefore no way to recrisp nori using this method, so the stainless container solves my need.Note that the lid of the box is not tight-fitting. When the product first arrived, I was surprised by this and wondered if the box would keep the nori fresh. The lack of a tight lid turns out not to matter and makes it easier to open the container.I hope that this review is helpful.

Nice, but need to keep it clean all the time. Leave finger mark very easy
