I took a Star off only because the stakes bent when trying to sucure them into the ground.Overall this is a great shade tent for my dog it is very large and weighs almost nothing. The stakes are able to keep the tent in place against the wind.I have not had it out in a storm so I can not give any advice on this. We have had pretty strong winds and it held.Installing the tent, was easy except there was one piece that I had trouble getting it into place however after I got it together the first time it was easy to put together after. Easy to put together and take apart. At first it looks like several pieces that you need to put together but they are attached together with a bungie like cord.I really like the material, appearance and it's waterproof cover.I recommend this for dogs and kids as they could use a shade tent in the hot sun.I would perchance again.

Sturdy and very cooling, but too expensive for my taste.I do like this tent because it provides a cool and fairly weatherproof place for my dogs when they are outside. The fabric is easy to wash down. It doesn't absorb a ton of moisture, so it dries off fairly quickly. The size is good for several of our smaller dogs and I could definitely see it fitting 2 larger dogs comfortably. The outer frame is sturdy and all of the pieces fit together easily during assembly. For what it is, the value because of quality is good. However, I wish there was just more functionality for the price.

It took me a while to get around to getting this installed.Don't make the same mistake I did.We have clay in our backyard and for some reason I assumed the assembly was going to require securing lines to stakes in the ground, which is impossible to do when the ground is dry and unpleasant when the ground is wet.WELL I WAS WRONG!There is an option to "stake" the shade down, but it's not necessary just to get it erected, and it doesn't get very windy in my backyard so the staking isn't an issue, so don't put off the assembly like I did.Assembly is easy and straightforward. You won't have any problems at all.The shade structure is fantastic and provides an extra little cozy area inside my animals' enclosure. They likely won't get much use out of it during the rain but it's great for providing a shady area.

This is a great product, it's good size, very sturdy, and easy to put together. Size wise, it's perfect for my dogs, just make sure you measure so you get the correct size.I had no issues getting this built and stuck to the ground, I saw other reviewers had issues.It's surprisingly heavy for what it is, but that speaks to the build quality. Great value for what it is, I expect it to last for a long time.
