If you have a chunky baby, definitely size up. Got this when she was about 6 months and got the 9-12 months size, it fit well because of the bigger size

Absolutely love for my 9mo old. Fit is perfect with some room to grow. She's about 16lbs and is long and slender for reference. She's just now in 9mo clothes. I do wish the inseams were a little longer to cover her thighs from the car seat straps.
