The battery is for a HP Pavilion G series laptop.Battery came with a 77% charge. It was a perfect fit. I charged the battery to 100% and then unplugged the laptop (I have 2 computers) for 3 days. Just turned on the laptop and there was a 98% charge left. For the value this is a great buy.

Low price and it works in an older HP laptop. It fixed the problem of the battery being detected as present but not charging, so now the laptop can be used without having to have the power plug connected all the time. And, oddly enough, the new battery make the laptop run faster, since Windows 10 was "dumbing down" the CPU's power consumption because the battery capacity was listed as zero % available... while running on the power cord. Cheap alternative to replacing my sister-in-law's laptop (who lives 100's of miles away), as I was able, over the phone, to easily talk her through replacing the battery in her HP laptop.

This was a replacement battery for my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop. I've had this battery for just over a week and it is operating as expected. My old battery would only hold a charge for about 30 minutes. This one can run for over 4 hours on a full charge.Two things prevented me from giving 5 stars: 1) The fit was not perfect. It required a little more force to install than I expected. It's not perfectly flush to the bottom when installed but it's close. 2) The battery arrived with very low charge. Make sure you plan on a few hours for charging out of the box to get it to full charge.
