This looked cool but whatever metal they used was cheap. The shaft literally bent in the shape of the cam of my 9000.. It eventually snapped.

Fell apart during first gig. Had to stop the show to put the old one on. Don’t trust this one.

Perhaps you get what you pay for. I don't remember a time that I have every broken a bass drum beater. I don't play that hard. In use, I liked the fact that the shaft was a little longer than my DW beaters which gave me more swing. I thought I had it longer but when it broke, I was sure that I wasn't getting any warranty but I had a second on the other pedal so I ordered another. That is when I saw it was only 6 months old.Today, I took the new one out of the wrapper and put it on my pedal and within 2 minutes, the white felt flew off. It would not stay the way it was originally oriented so I had to put it in sideways to get it to stay but that isn't a solution.

Bought these as I was unhappy with the OEM DW plastic beaters. Wanted something a bit heavier. These work well and were not expensive. I may buy a 2nd set for my back up drum kit.
