I ordered this set of two sensory activity boards for my kids (ages 3-7) for a recent trip. They saw the box when it arrived and were so excited they insisted on testing it out before we even got on the plane. As expected, the older kids had more patience and were more interested in creating designs/patterns on the rainbow shapes. That said, even the 3yr old enjoyed putting the bendy pieces on the board. I liked the bright colors, and I appreciated that the board was double-sided (one is a rainbow, and one is a pegboard) as the pegboard side provides more open-ended creative play. My kids did play with these boards on the plane, but they only held their attention for a short amount of time before they were ready to move on to something else. All in all, these are great for travel since they are small, flat and easily packable.

There is a pair of noodle busy boards in this set, both of the same size and matching shape. In this case, that shape is a rainbow in the clouds, and thier size is reasonably large.The material of these boards is a type of flattened rubber, which is flexible, but not overly so. Each of the 2 flattened sides also has it's own set of protrusions. While it does feel thick, in reality it's core is a bit thin. It is the protrusions on each side that gives off an illusion of a bit more thickness.On the front side is the formal labyrinthine grooves and twists. It does simulate the design pattern of a monastic style meditation labyrinth. On the other side is constant rows of short pegs.All grooves and pegs are equally measured to fit the same sizes of noodles, which are included. These noodles seem to be made from a type of silicone based material, which is slightly stretchy, but not really meant specifically for being stretched. Rather, they are for the hand-eye coordination practice and boredom fidgeting of fitting them randomly into the grooves and pegs of the busy boards. They fit onto the boards in this way quite snug and nicely, neither to hard or too easy to to get onto or off of the boards.I do believe this fidget set to be of good quality, and to be reasonably durable when used as intended. Always use under supervision if users are of such condition as to need supervision. Otherwise, keep out of reach. This toy, as far as I can tell so far, should be safe for most ages. But the noodles are long and thin. Therefore, it is possible that some could potentially try to swallow them, which is why I say this about the supervision.Otherwise, I think this is a great fidget toy option for those who are interested in this style of fidget toy.5 out of 5 stars.
