Works great for stacking 2 ssd. Works in tandum with the dual sata cable for the Zimabord or Zimablade

Anyone with a zima board needs this little bracket kit. Easily stack 2 2.5" drives for a compact build with you zimaboard. will work for other applications as well. Super simple installation, comes with longer screws to stack 2 drives mounting the brackets to the side of the drives.cheap, durable and just works.

This is a drive bracket designed for Zimaboard users. You can see the Zimaboard products on their Amazon store at https://www.amazon.com/stores/zimaboard/page/3BD1C923-3679-4F38-A967-831C90322390?ref_=ast_blnBasically, in addition to the USB, Ethernet, and PCIe ports on Zimaboard's servers, you get two SATA ports with a power connector, which with the Zimaboard SATA Y-Cable (https://www.amazon.com/zimaboard-ZBA001-SATA-Y-Cable/dp/B0BQVYW9MC/) give you two ports for SATA SSDs to connect. However, you might not want the drives just hanging off the server.These bracket kits let you bolt two drives together, and then you can either set them beside the Zimaboard, or under it, or mount the bunch to a tray or rack shelf.It's pretty much sheet metal, so I can say they work as expected to hold a pair of 2.5" drives together. There are potentially better solutions if you have a 3d printer, but for what this item is meant to be, it's good for that.Perhaps obviously, you can use this bracket with any design or deployment that needs to attach two drives together. There's no intelligence or electronics in the part, so other than being made by the Zimaboard team, there's no absolute connection to Zimaboard's products. You could use double-stick tape to stick it to the Zimaboard enclosure, or a Raspberry Pi enclosure, or a wall or bookshelf.
