The color is just as pictured, comfortable and the sole is super flexible.

While I expected to like these shoes, they exceeded expectations as soon as I got them! These are perfect shoes for any young child, but especially for new walkers. The sole is thin and flexible, but it has good a great tread for traction. The 6-12 month size is pretty comparable to a size 4.5-5 toddler shoe in other brands.All three of my kids have had really thick chunky feet, and I've had other shoes that didn't go on or stay on their short, chubby feet. These open really wide, so they're incredibly easily to get on, no matter how chunky your baby's feet are. The velcro strap has more than enough length, so I don't think anyone could possibly have issues with the strap being too short. The quality is great, and they look fantastic after months of almost daily use.They also look cuter in person! This general style of shoe is so functional but some brands remind me of an elderly diabetic shoe. This particular shoe somehow avoids that, probably because it's fairly thin and flexible around the whole shoe, not just the sole.My only minor issue is that the elastic "laces" are so tempting for babies to pull on, and my little girl managed to pull one elastic loose from the shoe. It started unraveling too, so I cut off the excess and used a lighter to melt the raw edge. I tucked it back in where it was supposed to go without actually securing it to anything, and I haven't had any other problems since!I'd say the look and functionality of this shoe is very similar to a stride rite shoe, but for 30-50% less money. Even with the elastic lace issue, I would absolutely get these shoes again!

Very soft subtle leather! Great stitching and skid proof soles, outstanding craftsmanship as well. My grandson has not yet grown into them, but these quality shoes that are high style will be readily available for spring 2024!
