Exactly what I needed for a simple rehearsal setup. I like that the ends are serviceable not that it needs it now but having that option is a big plus especially at this price point.

Update: I contacted the company, cable has lifetime warranty. They were helpful and we willing to help however they could. I just needed an end so I could fix myself and they obliged. Cool folks there.------So I bought this snake to go from a mixer to my DAW. It took me a little while to figure out that one of the ends was bad. Now I have to order an end to replace it. Fortunately I'm only using 7 of the 8 Channels so I can get away with it for a while. was disappointed / Resolved

Cheapest way to get two 2m DSub snakes? Buy this and a couple DB25 kits and, if your solder skills are up to the task (yes it’s hard), you can solder up two after cutting this in half. Or solder in any ends you wish. You will also want various size shrink tubing. You don’t need to strip or tin the hot/cold just the shield, the fine insulation melts away. You save about half the cost doing this in trade for a hour or two’s work, but the result is fully serviceable and you have the pride of DIY.

Not much to complain about with this product. It really helped to reduce cable clutter in my home studio. The separate cables are 4 red and 4 blue, making ir nice for stereo applications, but the cables are numbers 1-4 on one color and 5-8 on the other. My stereo pairs ended up being 1,5; 2,6; etc. It would have been nice to connect them to the numbered ports on my sound interface, which are 1,2; 3,4, etc.

This cable and TRS connectors have a nice quality feel to them. The strain relief is decent, the tip is gold plated, and the channels are marked 1 through 8. My only minor complaint is that it takes a few seconds to find the cable label. It could be a bit larger or marked on each side of the cable. Otherwise this is a great cable and should last quite a while.
