Have not installed fully yet but these both look so good and fit the exact measurements stated. Needed to replace both lights outside my driveway and these will work great! Definitely worth the money.

The fixture appears to be reasonable quality (especially for the price), and came complete with all hardware (the cap hardware was pre-installed in the cap, the post hardware was separate). Slipped easily onto a 4’ tall aluminum light post, and proportionally and aesthetically looks great. Our mounting required a button-eye photocell (separate item), and the fixture operation is unfazed by it.That said, I’m a bit of a lighting snob. If money was no object there are a few changes I would like to see: (1) tool-less entry (or at least one that can be seen) - the cap is fastened to the fixture with two tiny screws on the underside and would be easily lost if dropped. We chose to pre-install the bulb and cap prior to installing the fixture on pole to ensure that wasn’t a problem; (2) I’d prefer the fixture be sealed against dust intrusion (IP rated). The glass panes aren’t tight and I expect this fixture will get dust and bugs inside as a result, and it will periodically need to be vacuumed out; and (3) provide a shielding option for the house side - we actually cut one from thin sheet stainless that is remarkably effective at reducing light trespass. I might be able find these things in a commercially available fixture - but not at this price point.This fixture is likely best suited toward homeowners that want an attractive post light without spending a lot of money, and are willing to put a little extra effort into keeping it clean. Overall, happy with the product.

Achat de deux. Bon matériel, solide, arrive bien emballé avec tout le nécessaires pour l'installation. Donne un aspect plus acceuillant et sécuritaire à l'entée des voitures.. L'utilisation des ampoules de 40 w. est amplement suffisant pour nos besoins. Recommandé..

I replaced 7 cheap, all plastic (even glass), bug infested driveway lamps (former homeowner's choice) with these Gull Lighting Herrington lamps and I'm very pleased! They arrived packaged well, none had broken glass. The glass is pebbled, not totally clear which helps diffuse light somewhat and looks fancier. The glass is held in with sturdy clips. The all metal casing is flat black (in case you need to spray paint posts), and lamp itself once installed doesn't seem to have any way for bugs to get in. There's an enclosed bottom and top is secured with two screws, appearing relatively bomb proof. The wiring is simple, if there's conventional wiring already in place (grounding incl). You will need 3 wire connectors for each lamp (not provided). I had to expose more of the black and white wiring to wrap around my copper wiring. There are three screw holes for attachment to post (3" diameter post attachment). I had to use a metal drill bit to make 3 new holes in existing post since old holes didn't line up. For the price (around $35), these are very sturdy, well made, have some weight to them, attractive lamps. I didn't want them any bigger, so some saying they are small, I think mean more the width since they’re taller than wider. These lamps are a perfect size for me and a vast improvement to what was displayed in my driveway before! And, I'm using all fluorescent bulbs no problem.
