My RamblingsNormally, I would go on and on about this or that and this and that, but this is simple... pounds grounding rods into ground. Ahh, heck. Let's take a closer look anyway. To the Point or TL;DRThis is for SDS Max. Not compatible with SDS Plus. Pounds rods like, well, things pound other things. Comes in plastic carry/storage sleeve which is nice. Fits actual grounding rods plus #5 rebar when in a pinch or for a game of horse shoes, or whatever (Hey Watch This!).The Good StuffFits, works, not made of plastic, hasn't broken. The Bad StuffHmmm, let's see. Didn't make me more attractive, or make my truck look better, but heck, those things weren't going to happen anyway. So nothing bad.Who May Use/Like ItDuh? Those needing to pound 10' pieces of grounding rod into the ground to make local inspectors happy and keep from frying something.Me Final ThoughtsI make fun, because otherwise I would be bored. This works, Fits SDS Max, Simple, The End.That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: SDS Max Cost: $17.99 at time of review.SDS Max Ground Rod Driver for 5/8”& 3/4” Ground Rods,Heavy Duty Ground Rod Bit Driver for Hammer Drill,Fits Bosch Dewalt Hilti Milwaukee Rotary Hammer Drill Tools, etc.SDS Plus Bits(250mm/9.8in)

This works really well at driving ground electros. Most electros have to be driven 6ft into the ground, so having a tool that hammers it into the ground is a time saver. I have used in a Botsch hammer drill and it worked great.

This bit is perfect for driving ground rods or rebar. The task is quick and easy with this bit. SDS plus is the correct bit to buy because my SDS Max drill is heavier and bigger, and I don’t need to climb a taller than necessary ladder carrying a heavier than necessary drill. The bit appears to be made of quality materials just like the name brands. It should last a long time.
