I have a more expensive heavy iron that I don’t love. This iron is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an iron that was light weight and that I could easily put water in to steam. I like the design and it seams to heat up quickly and is easy to use.

This fits in perfectly with all my other Sabian AAX cymbals- including an Xplosion crash, Xplosion ride, Accelerator hi hats, fast crash, and Xtreme china. It has a little more body/punch and doesn't open as quickly as the AAX Air Splash, but it's still super quick and extra thin. Seems also to be durable. Buy this cymbal! Thanks Amazon for a great price, too.

Heidi Joubert recommended this cymbal for cajon playing and no surprise she is right. This has the perfect crash cymbal sound when played by hand.

Well, what can I say? I purchased this iron a few years ago and it just recently started to die. So, I recently bought another one, EXACTLY the same. This iron is inexpensive and it is easy to use. Just plan simple and uncomplicated, just the the way I like things to be.Yes, after I fill it with water, I do sometimes get a spurt of water dribble onto my clothing, but I just iron it dry. If the iron had a cover over the water filling hole that would be better, but you get used to it. I also love that it turns itself off if you were ever in a situation where you weren't sure if you left the iron on or not. That being said, I always make sure I unplug it when I am done.I hope this review helps. My buying it a second time has got to be a good sign that it works well. :)
