Take your time with some Nokona glove conditioner in the palm only and a Rawlings glove break in kit. It’s amazingly firm but break it in slowly and it will treat you well. Store it face down stretching the thumb to give you the extra wide pokey for fielding grounders.Treat it well, take your time, it’s really a pretty amazing mitt.

The glove is so nice looking that I was thinking of keeping it in a trophy case! No, I started breaking in and the inside is solid and super smooth leather. It’s very firm. The description on the ad says the original price is $379 and on sale for $279, but the tag that came with the glove says $299. Other than that, very happy with purchase.

Very disappointed with this purchase. After using for one month, the laces in the pocket snapped. When requesting an exchange, because it was used for only 1 month, I recieved a response "snapped laces fall under general wear and tear and can be repaired using a re-lacing kit." I would understand if it was used for a full season or two, but one month?! Ridiculous! Way too much money to be spent on something that falls apart that fast. Have never had a problem with Rawlings in the past, but lesson learned, only buy from a place that backs their product.
