Very easy to assemble and put together. It came with all sorts of attachment screws for multiple ways of installment. I screwed the base to a 8x8 and put the pole in. Hanged the solar light on top and wired it with it's solar panel. Works great except I had the solar panel below the light which caused it to keep coming on and off at night, I am moving the panel away from the lighted area for it to work properly. Now the pole can go up to 8 ft high with all rods attached, you have a choice of not using all for a shorter pole. Except for the base installment, no tools are needed.

This light pole did what we were looking for! It was nice we could adjust the height by adding/removing ~12” metal segments, and the base was easy to screw together. The metal isn’t overly thick or sturdy, but works well. The brackets to hold the pole to a wall (or corner in our case) bent easily when I used zip ties to attach it around our patio post, but they’ve survived several windy days without issue!
