Rejilla transparente
Los altavoces incorporados de la serie Vanishing cuentan con nuestra exclusiva parrilla Sheer-Grille, una rejilla magnética que sobresale solo 0.276 in de su entorno. Sheer-Grilles tienen perfs casi transparentes, ultrapequeños y son acústicamente inertes, para un sonido dinámico y sin obstáculos y una cobertura más uniforme, incluso en habitaciones más grandes.
Compensación de habitación reflectante
Las superficies reflectantes en las habitaciones pueden hacer que el sonido sea más brillante y causar distorsión de la imagen. Al activar la función de compensación reflectante de la habitación (mediante la selección de la configuración baja) se reduce el nivel del tweeter para compensar las superficies reflectantes. La compensación de la habitación reflectante desapareciendo es un control de audio personalizado que corta el nivel solo en el rango de 4-5kHz, exactamente donde la reflectividad destruye la calidad del sonido. Fuera de esta estrecha banda de 1kHz, el tweeter conserva su detallada y precisa respuesta de alta frecuencia, sin perder detalles musicales realistas.
Timbre-atching
Los altavoces RT de la serie Vanishing son compatibles con los altavoces Polk RTi para asegurar una mezcla completamente perfecta de altavoz a altavoz en sistemas que combinan altavoces tradicionales e incorporados.
Configuración sencilla

Alternar distancia
Si las limitaciones de posicionamiento exigen que los altavoces se instalen más de 2 pies de las paredes laterales, la proximidad de la superficie puede resultar en un golpe de respuesta entre 50 y 200 Hz. Esto puede crear un sonido 'boomy'. El interruptor de interruptor de distancia de pared de fuga es un control de audio personalizado que ajusta el cruce para aplanar la respuesta y ajustar el boomness, sin sacrificar la respuesta de graves profundos, para un sonido más realista y una colocación más flexible.

These could not have been easier to install. All you need is a gyprock saw, a screwdriver and some wire strippers. I installed as a centre channel and there's absolutely no issue with the speakers being slightly off centre with the port. Grille covers it anyway once painted, and you'll need to do that as they are a kind of off-white old IBM cream colour. Be nice if the just produced them in plain neutral white but easy enough to spray paint 👍

I upgraded from the Polk 65v to the 265 because the v65 was well… just meh ? For the price the performance was crap - and if I’m honest the price of the 265 for just 1speaker is shocking….. but the the sound and performance is good , I only brought this speaker as I don’t have room for a book shelf speaker directly behind my listing position and needed a in wall …. Otherwise I wouldn’t pay that price, but the 265 delivers …. Easy to install and sounds great compared to the 65v

Easy installation, magnetic covers make for a very flush appearance. I was tight for space and I cut my hole too close to a stud. You need at least a half inch of distance away in order to secure all 8 fasteners. I am left with 2 fasteners not engaged on one side but that's surprisingly barely noticeable. I am installing still and only have these going (front left and right) and they sound fantastic. These deliver fuller sound than my old (cheap) 5.1 combined. Signal is everything though. Games and movies from an Xbox one sound rich and full while older netflix tv shows sound muffled and unbalanced, but that's the input, not the speakers. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't hesitate to make this purchase again.

Item shipped quickly, was received in great shape. Installation is a snap and instructions are easy to follow. For those a little uneasy about cutting holes in your walls to mount speakers, don't worry. This was my first time installing in-wall speakers. If you are at least marginally handy, have the basic tools needed, and use the provided template it will look like it was professionally installed.The speakers sound great. I power them with a Pioneer VSX-1020 and the sound is great. You will likely need a subwoofer as these do not provide enough bass to fill a room by themselves. I added the Polk Audio PSW505 and it provides excellent bass.The only negative I have is that the speaker coverings/grates are a little flimsy. They are magnetic and sit flush to the wall which gives a very clean look, but mine were slightly bowed at the bottom and are therefore not completely flush with wall. If I worked at it, I could probably bend them a little to make them flush. This did not affect my rating as I think these are excellent speakers.
