Wow. This clothespin bag is the real deal.I've been drying my clothes on a clothesline since, well, I started doing laundry. Clotheslines, good clothespins and a clothespin bag used to be relatively easy to find in any local hardware store. Not so much any more. While I finally was able to locate a good clothesline rope (nix on the plastic-coated varieties, since they mildew) and good spring-latched wooden clothespins, finding a quality clothespin bag has eluded me for years. In the Southern sun, heat will deteriorate most fabrics. Throw in the occasional unpredicted summer thunderstorm, and I'd find my clothespins wet, clumped together and eventually rotting. I resorted to making my own bag, using a hook from a now-deceased bag and a mesh lingerie bag. That will only last so long, though, and it finally begins to shred uncontrollably due to heat and use.Enter this ingeniously-designed, sturdy bag with a marvelous "D" clip to attach it to my line. Loads of room to store more clothespins than I will ever need. Drawstring closure really does the trick, allowing closing and opening easily with one hand. Material is water resistant, and sure enough, it was tested within days of receipt: thunderstorm rolled in dumping inches of rain, but my clothespins remained dry! Woah!!Recommended highly. If you are an advocate of "solar drying" (ha ha) like I am, then good tools to do this are vital. This is an excellent bag that I'm sure will last for a LONG time.

I was skeptical about how many pins this would hold, but I have at least 50 wooden pins, 50 metal pins and 30 large plastic pins in the bag.I seems to be water resistant, and has a great drawstring to close the bag when not in use. The carbiner clips nicely to the line and the system works perfectlyGreat product! Thanks!

I will say from the get go that this product cost more than I wanted to pay for a clothespin bag but after using it for a couple of weeks, I can say it is well worth the extra money. I have bought and used many clothespin bags over the years and had to replace each one for one reason or another. This product seems to address each of those problems.1. Sturdy "D" clip- We live in a fairly windy area and standard U-shaped hooks (or worse yet the clothes hanger style hook, which is completely useless) would invariably get blown to the ground. This one isn't going anywhere unless you want it to. It also glides effortlessly along the clothesline. Definitely a labor-saver.2. Material- Most clothespin bags are made of cotton. When it rains, the material gets soaked, the clothespins get wet, and everything takes a long time to dry out leading to mildew/discoloration on the clothespins and rot/disintegration of the bag. This product is made from a sturdy, water-repellent material. It also has a drawstring top, which can be closed pretty tightly. We have had several rainy days since I first started using this product and my clothespins have stayed dry the whole time.3. Size- The bag has a pretty slim profile, but it holds a generous quantity of clothespins. I think I currently have over 200 in there right now and there is still room to spare.I wish this product had been available when I first set up my own home. It would have saved me money in the long run because I wouldn't need to replace it every single year. This one is built to last.
