I have a 2018 Jeep Compass & recently had one of these go out. Few notes:-Getting to the bulb area is a bit of a PITA. You have to take out the 4-5 8mm screws on the front tire well, pull it back and squeeze your hand in. Then try not to break the delicate plastic of the old bulb while trying to pull it out. Pro tip: needle nose pliers will be your BFF for this one. Personally, I knew I'd need to change the transmission fluid soon & that required taking the wheel off. So I replaced the light then too. Still needed the pliers though!-Research the specific part # of bulb for your vehicle before buying. Before these, I just did a search for jeep daytime running light & bought one of the most popular - a pair of PS24W bulbs. he listing said it fit something like 95% of make/models. Surely there was no need to go looking at diagrams of the specific light figment.... except when they arrived, I quickly learned that the Jeep Compass (not sure if true for all Jeeps), uses a PSX24W, which has just a slightly different casing (enough to make it not compatible) =[-The listing says the color temp is 4300. I was under the impression this was on the "cool" side, as it would be with household light bulbs. After install, I realized they were the exact same warm color as the originals. Googling "car daytime lights temp range" shows that car lights & household lights do NOT use the same range #s. It also seems there's no universal/consistent standard for halogen lights. Even the images of LED headlamp white color ranges were all over the place. So just be aware - these 4300K definitely lean towards the warm end.Overall, for such an economical price ($7 currently), these lights are a solid buy if you're needing daytime lights.
