I like that they keep the cookies, brownies, or tarts uniform in size. The air holes around the edges ensure an even bake, crispy edges, yet the centers stay nice and chewy. The cookies will be thick and with a great texture.But make sure you fully grease the forms inside and out when baking. You want the baked goods to easily pop out, and if the forms aren't well-greased, you may have trouble extricating the yummy stuff from their molds. A quick knife around the inner edges helps to loosen them so you can lift the form off the cookies.They're also good when forming a mini layer cake with fillings, or using them to present a side or salad you want to look like a restaurant offering.

Very disappointed in these. I have 3 inch solid rings and love them. These 2 inch did not perform as well as the 3 inch. My cookies stuck, even after spraying with a baking spray. It may have been the perforations.

Perfect size for mini tarts. Tart shells come off easily and cook well. Just what I was looking for

I got these 2" baking rings to try making individual bite-size brownie and blondie treats. I learned the hard way that you should line the rings with a strip of parchment paper (cut wider than the height of the ring) before baking. My first batch of blondies ended up glued to the rings and I had to use a sharp knife to cut them out. The strip of parchment paper serves 2 purposes - 1) to make the baked goods easier to remove and 2) act as a collar if the baked good rises higher than the ring. My second attempt was a batch of cheesecake blondies (blondie batter topped with cheesecake batter), baked 15 minutes, and they turned out great. I'm happy with these rings and in fact, just ordered a second set. They're sturdy - the metal doesn't bend easily. They're a good value for the price paid. I do wish they were a bit taller, but using a parchment paper collar takes care of that need. I now want to try larger sizes (3" and 4").
