I work outside in marshes and wetlands; Holds up very well to mud, water and mostly prevents your feet from being crushed vis steel toe & shank supports, while also not being very weight encumbering. I've hiked in them once already for a 2 hour session and they don't hurt my ankles or feet going down or up.Their anti-slip grip works pretty decently in muddy conditions, but once the tread fills up with debris, if you aren't careful you'll go flying. Best used on a wet hard surface i'm guessing, but hold up well for the way i've used them. Had them about a month now and worn them every day since. The outsides scratch up pretty easily, so if you're a neat freak beware of that, not a deal breaker for me though.As said in the title, I'm usually a Women's size 10. I ordered a half size up at 8 & 1/2 with the Wide selection, which i would recommend if your toe box area is larger than your ankle. I do slide a tiny bit inside the shoe if i'm not wearing thick wool socks, but not something i terribly mind with the amount of wiggle room i'm given.Good boots.

Takes every bit of a month to get them, but once they showed up and I got them broke in their great. Comfy, not too hot and I don’t think they are going to be too cold in the winter. Good grip on the soles which between that and cold in the winter we’re my complains with other cow boy style work boots.I usually wear a 9-9.5, so got these in a 9.5EE. Kind of wish I had bought a 10, but after a month and a half they have stretched and are ok. Took two weeks to break them in though and that sucked. When these are worn out I will certianly buy another pair of these to replace them.

Order 1 size bigger to be accurate. My first pair were too tight. Couldn't squeeze my foot in with socks on so I ordered one size larger and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable during breakin period, about a week. A Solid boot for the buck! Definetly a 5 star for this one and I wear boots all the time.

good fit for wide feet but a little to tight around calf. would be nice if shaft matches for wide feet. I would guess that people with wide feet have bigger calf too.
