Lesson learned: when a charger gets wet, give it more than 24 hours to dry—especially in a chilly basement. My old Ryobi charger didn’t get the memo and fried instantly when I plugged it in. Enter this replacement charger, which works perfectly! Charges my Ryobi batteries without issue, and I’m back in business.Great fit, no overheating, and does exactly what it should. Definitely a solid replacement!

Multi-type replacement charger with power cord for Ryobi batteries from NiCd to Lithium Ion and voltages. I only have 1 NiCd battery which it charged easily and the rest or Li-Ion which it also charged properly. The lights tell you what chemistry you have plugged in and if it's charging/broken/charged.

I've used this to charge my Ryobi 1.2,1.5, 2, 3, and 4 Amp batteries with no problems. A less expensive alternative to the Ryobi charger.

Pros:It works, period.Charges as fast as the OE one does.No issues so far, and I've probably used it at least a dozen time.Cons:None. It does just what I want and costs less than the OEM version

Got this to supplement my batteries (I have about 4 replacements for various tools).It’s a bit bulky BUT, it uses a standard power cord, no bulky wall plug, so that’s a plus to me.It charges just the same as my original Ryobi, good value for money at $20. I also like the indicators it has (steady green for charged, blinking for charging, red of the battery is very low, etc).Definitely recommend if you need a replacement or have a lot of batteries to charge.
