Easy to click together and assemble, however once it's opened at the widest, it's hard to adjust back down. Also I do wish it was more stable. It's feels cheap and tilts over easily once shoes are in there. You'll need to have them lined tight on the shelf to avoid that.

These all came unassembled in a box. They are very easy to build. The top part clicks onto two pegs on the side of the bottom part. There's a flat peg that is used to change the angle of the top shelf versus the bottom. I was able to put some sandals using the smallest tab and regular dress shoes on the larger tab. I was able to store 16 pairs of shoes in a space that normally holds 8 pairs neatly, I used to have them all jumbled up in the bottom of the wardrobe. This keeps my shoes organized and clean. Good stuff

I grabbed this MANTIANJIN Shoe Slots Organizer 16 Pack so we can complete some organization. We already have a set from a different company we like and use, so when I had the chance I grabbed these MANTIANJIN Shoe Slots Organizers to help us finish up. The question is, would we like these? In the end it's yes and no. The two things that give us pause: 1. they require assemble and 2. they seem small. But they do work.1. The other set we have came already assembled. There was one that popped open and was easily popped back into place. So we get how they work and that meant assembly of these MANTIANJIN Shoe Slots Organizers was pretty straight forward. It took me maybe 5 minutes to get them all done. It isn't that we had to put them together, it's that we didn't have to do this with the same product from another company. So is that bad? Not really, but we took note.2. They seem small. I wear a men's 8 and as you can see in the photos, they just fit. I cannot imagine how one can get a 10 or above in there. And what about the weight of larger shoes? I tested these with a pair of slippers (seen) and loafers and they fit the same, with different weights, but the MANTIANJIN Shoe Slots Organizers work. Yet if you look, these size 8 hang over the back edge and take up the full size of the organizer. In the end we will use these MANTIANJIN Shoe Slots Organizers, but you need to be aware of these two... 'hiccups" that struck us as questionable.

These little plastic stands are great space savers. Especially if you have limited closet space, these really do double the amount of shoe storage (and can be used on a multi-shelf shoe rack to get even more vertical space). They're also useful in doorways/mud rooms when you're trying to corral a bunch of people's shoes that come off upon entry. I don't love plastic everywhere, but in this case, it's a long-term-use item, they area sturdy, and they provide exactly the type of space saving we need.My only qualification would be that, if you have large feet, the bottom level might be a bit of a tight squeeze, especially for sneakers. For a women's size 8 sneaker, it doesn't fit all the way into the bottom level. For flats and heels, the size of the item probably works up to a women's size 9, max.

We have an awesome shoe rack but placing my shoes side by side was making it very cramped and not a great use of space. We could see a huge gap between the tops of our shoes and the bottom of the shelf above. I initially debated just stacking shoes but I own several (10+) pairs of leather Tieks ballet flats. I didn’t want to ruin them but scratching them up! This product solved our problem completely! Not only does it allow you to stack the shoes in a slim column it also prevents them from touching and getting dirty. They adjust too, allowing for several different styles of shoes! The cost was great, I think I’ll get a second and do my kids shoes too!
