We purchased this item for Portugal and Spain. We needed 16 days and enough data to use a 2020 iPhone SE as a local phone as well as a hotspot for a couple of tablets and a couple of locked newer iPhones when other wireless service was not available . The data was 4G which is a little slower than we are currently used to, but was still quite good. We had a car for 13 of days as we traversed Portugal and Western Spain and we used GPS frequently both for driving and walking and it worked very well. We purchased local SIM cards once at a the Madrid airport and once in the Madrid city center, We had to wait in lines to purchase them and kept having to recharge the data.The instructions are quite specific that you must purchase the cards with enough time to receive the cards and create your profile several days in advance. I also waited half an hour after landing to install the card in order to make sure that the phone knew that it was in Europe. Never install the card while you are in the United States. Safe travels! We were treated well in both countries.

La active llegando a Europa, y solo funcionó 4 dias! De ahí fui a Orange directamente y dijeron que esos sim de Amazon no funcionan

Un fraude este vendedor, anuncia en su publicación una sim card orange, incluso con la imagen del cartón marca Orange, y al recibirla ves un producto totalmente directamente, es una sim card de la empresa "mundo" que al parecer se conecta a la red Orange y el registro es en linea y tarda varios dias en activarse y solo trae un papel impreso donde dice que es de la red Orange

This is the second time we've bought these specific Orange sims through this company on Amazon. The first time, they were satisfactory. On the first trip, we were able to successfully activate them and use them in Spain and France. They didn't work in Monaco, and when we returned to France, they no longer worked. Since we only had one day remaining on our trip, it wasn't a big deal.This trip we decided it was worth trying again. Everything was fine until Day 13 when my husband began getting messages from Orange that he needed to refill his account. The message indicated that he had no data remaining. This didn't match his phone data usage. (He had used about 2 GB of data). Also, I knew I had used more data than he had, and my phone was still working. We were in Malaga, Spain, and decided to visit the Orange store there. We were assisted by a helpful woman who spoke English. She tried to find my husband in the Orange computer system, but she didn't have any luck. Then, she tried by phone number and found the sim registered to a strange name that I assume is Chinese. Since we had submitted our passport information as required by law, there is no reason that the sims shouldn't be registered in our names. The saleslady indicated that the sims were not legitimately sold by Orange. We purchased two new sims with 25 GB of data each for ten euros apiece. She said that we could keep them activated if we add a few Euros to our accounts before they expire in six months.While I'm not suggesting that these sims are some sort of scam, there is something wrong here. I will never buy from this vendor again!

Compre 2 y una de ellas funcionó solo 4 días.Fui a un Orange en España y no pudieron hacer nada. Me dicen que el número no estaba registrado

Lo usé en francia e Italia y funcionó perfectamente.Solo tener a la mano los numeros del Pin y el Puk, porque al apagar o reiniciar el celular te los pide..

This card worked perfectly during my travels to Iceland, Norway, and Ireland. I was also pleasantly surprised that it stayed active for 28 days instead of some of the others that I’ve used that were only 14. Note that it will not work in northern Ireland, as that is a different country. But it worked in all the other countries that were in the description. Texting using the Sim card was limited. I may have been using it wrong or perhaps there are just a limited number of texts but I messaged through Instagram and Facebook very easily. The iMessage worked fine as well. I have an apple unlocked phone.

I bought an Orange European Holiday SIM card from Amazon once before, and it worked perfectly. It was from Orange France and the minute I put the SIM card in at Charles de Gaulle, a text message from the operator was sent to my phone and voila, it worked.So, I thought I was receiving the same card when I ordered this one, even though it says Spain all over it. I was completely wrong. The first thing I noticed, is that when you order it there are multiple sets of instructions. Fine, I thought, I've ordered other SIMs where this is the case, as long as I follow the instructions tot he letter it should be fine. The first red flag is that they ask you to pre-register the SIM about three days before you are on location in Europe. I tried to register it while I was at work, and my company blocked the registration site (pickpiff123.com) saying that it was a hazardous site. I should have known right then that this SIM was bogus.I did the registration on my home laptop and was able to register the card and I informed them of the date I would be in Europe. I got an email from I guess the website the next day saying that the card was ready to use. The person's name was Chinese and the English used in the email wasn't great, so I'm going to guess that whoever wrote the email is overseas, probably in China. Second red flag. But still I endured and took the card with me.I followed the instructions and mounted the card when I landed in Heathrow and nothing happened. It didn't roam and connect to the local service provider. I could see that it used a little bit of data, but besides that I spent most of the first 3/4 of a vacation day waiting to see if it would pick up service and it didn't AT ALL. I ended up just getting a Vodafone card instead.I would warn others from buying it. It looks like this seller with the pickpiff123.com registration site sells other SIMs like a Vodafone one I just looked it. I would warn against any item that requires you to register at that site.

La tarjeta pre pago en Europa nos resultó una excelente compra! No tuvimos ningún inconveniente y siempre tuvimos cobertura cuando no teníamos WiFi. Siempre los datos en paseos y fuera de área WiFi estuvieron activos. Recomendamos.

I was in Spain for March and this card worked fie. I see other reviewers had issues, but I did not have any. I followed the instructions precisely - activated 3 days ahead of time through the website, but then kept the phone powered off until we got to Spain. Once we got there, powered-up and worked no issues. Seems like it is very brittle, so follow the instructions precisely.For those not accustomed to using overseas SIMs - it provides a Spanish number. This means to reach US numbers you have to use the 011 country code. In hindsight that was a no-brainer, but we did't realize at first. Once we realized that it worked fine for callstexts. We did have one or two cases where SMS was not usable (never received). But it worked OK with iMessage and data was good.The other weird thing - we kept getting texts from the carrier that we needed to provide a passport photo. We did that but it kept asking... pretty much every day. We ignored it after the first request. So that was odd, but it worked fine.

El servicio no es barato, pero el evitar ir de compras por una SIM sin salir del aeropuerto a mi llegada a Madrid, valía la pena. Hice el procedimiento tal cual fue requerido, pero la SIM funcionó hasta después del día esperado. Nada te garantiza que la darán de alta a tiempo. No hay siquiera una respuesta al procedimiento solicitado, a pesar de haber cumplido con él.Finalmente tuve que ir a comprar a una tienda otra SIM, pues no había sido activada la comprada en Amazon. Además tampoco existe información del APN. Les falta mucho.
