I absolutely love this. Heat up quick. No splashing. Always wanted to fry my own with the cooking oil I prefer. Fresh & home made, fried foods come out good, not oily & fresh.

The pot is very simple and good design. Filters well and holds a lot of oil! Working great! The fact that it can actually be used as a deep frying pot is so neat. It's got a thick bottom.

As a fryer- We don't do a lot of fried foods but occasionally it's necessary when an air fryer won't cut it. I've tried multiple fryers and they're either too bulky, stink up the whole place, or splatter everywhere. Plus cleaning the bits out of large ones is a hassle. This pot makes frying so simple. Let me count the ways-1. Because it's compact, it heats up quickly with the top on. I did have to buy a thermometer probe to make sure it hits the right temp, but I needed one anyway for other cooking needs.2. It doesn't need as much oil because the cylindrical basket shape and compact pot means the food is surrounded more once submerged.3. Storage is a breeze. Once I filter the bits, I just put the top back on and leave it on the back burner for next time.4. For some reason it doesn't make your whole house smell like grease even without any special filters. The larger fryer I had with built in filters still stunk up the place. I even have an automatic air filter in our home that kicks in when it detects smoke or air quality reduction. When I'm using this pot it never comes on. It always did with my other fryers.I absolutely love this thing. I just happened to already have a grease pot with a filter and I pour the used oil through that first and then pour it back into the fryer. So I haven't used the filter that comes with it.Now a confirmation, I mistakenly put too many plantains in one time and it overflowed before I could turn the heat down. Nice grease fire ensued. I thankfully was able to get it contained without damage. But after learning that lesson I've used it frequently with no further issues. It does warn not to over fill. I didn't realize I had, so use caution. For pasta - I realized I wanted to have one pot strictly for frying so got another for pasta. Same benefits with the compactness is that it heats up quickly. And with the basket I can drain the pasta without a colander. I especially like this for ramen because I can lift out the noodles without trying to fish out little broken bits and then poach an egg in the remaining heated water. The only dislike is I can't quite judge how much water to use sometimes without either displacing or not having enough to cover my pasta. And since I sometimes want to put pesto or sauce directly on the pasta after cooking, I don't want to do that in this pot as there's not a lot of room to toss things around. So I only use the pasta one for ramen.I can't believe how simple and affordable this is. Sometimes I avoided meals with fried foods because of the hassle. This pot is amazing. I really hate I hadn't found this before.

It’s good quality and it fries good, maintain the heat even if turned off The only thing is need too much oil and the cylinder shape is not the best, cause only small quantities can be fried at the time The basket is not so easy to rest on the topCould be updated
