Nikon Z teleconverter 1.4 works great with my Nikon 100-400mm and Z8. It turns the lens into a 140-560mm lens with only 1 stop loss in aperture. Autofocus is fast and I can’t see any loss in Image Quality. It’s small and pocketable.I bought this TC to get me in the game of wildlife and birding. Everyone says that 600mm is minimum. This TC brings me close to that and I still have a lot of flexibility.Also, teleconverters can be used with only a few Nikon zoom lenses and telephoto lenses like the 450, 600 and 800mm. So check compatibility first before buying.My only criticism is it is pricey for what it is.

Nikon produces excellent glass, so this is a no brainer. However, you will damage your sensor if you attempt to install it backwards! The cap on the tele-extender has a graphic indicating which way it mounts, but be cautious to ensure that you don't install it backwards.

I use this with my z180-600 and z 800. You do lose a stop of light but it works well. Remember do not use TC for reach but rather to enlarge your subject.

Super fast shipping at an unbeatable price. Item is grey market but I've never needed repair in 18 years for a Nikon teleconverter.Works great on my 800mm and 70-200 Z lenses.
