I had the old metal one which I love. Figured id find another one with a rake that is connected (i never use the blue rake on the metal one because its a hassle to change). I like how this new plastic one has a bigger bin area to hold more poop before i have to walk over to the bin to dump it all. The rake is flimsy but is super nice for in the grass and I think the days we have the light fluffy snow it will be super nice to rake out the poop and not grab a ton of snow like I have to sift through with my original metal scooper. That is defective a plus. Even though it's flimsy i think the straight scoop part being behind the rake helps keep it from bending too far. I have little 12lb & 25lb dogs so the rake works well with their stool, it may be more of a struggle with the stool of a really big dog. The one thing is the soft poop stuck to the rake much more than my metal scooper, and you cant wake it on the ground or on the bin part otherwise you could accidentally throw it at yourself, that's definitely a con to this product. Also if you have frozen snow like in the middle of January and February in Wisconsin I bet these plastic one would break, my metal one worked great for the frozen snow. So in thinking summer with the plastic one or fluffy snow and winter for the metal one.I am deducting a point for how soft and flimsy the plastic rake is. I think they could have used something slightly different to make it more firm (like a strong plastic leaf rake). But it will do well for weeding through grass in the summer i bet.

I got introduced to this thanks to my wonderful neighbour who loaned me his when he saw me picking up our doggie's droppings in my yard by hand (double-gloved of course!). My back was always pretty sore after constantly bending down to pick up, but there's no bending required with this handy tool! The rake works great, even in longer grass. The spines on it are surprisingly sturdy, but not so stiff that they will break when you need to dig/claw for a stubborn turd. Haven't tried the spade yet since the rake works so well. And I love the pan that it comes with—it's nice not to have to run to the garbage bag after picking up each turd! Give this a try, you won't regret it. ;)

Only used it once so far, and it is our first poop scooper. 🤭 I use to use a shovel (a little to heavy) & a rake. Love using this though! 🙂 It's light, easy to use & clean, looks sturdy too. 👍

I really despise reading amazon reviews. It's like you people just complain because you have nothing better to do! THIS IS A $9 pooper scooper! What exactly more do you want??? It does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do! It is durable, works well and for the price it's great in my opinion. I read someone say the rake part is flimsy. Wrong!! I have 2 large dogs. One is 140Lbs, the other 80lbs. This thing rakes up all their giant mess with no issue. I also read a comment that said the shovel doesn't hold much. WRONG AGAIN! Like are you going weeks before picking up the dog's waste??? I pick up at least every 2 to three days and I might have to make 2 trips at most to the dumpster. Still not enough for me to complain. Be thankful you live in a country where things like this are affordable and at your disposal. You could just be using your hand and a plastic bag. Stop the unnecessary complaints. This thing works and I so far have no issues whatsoever!

I shopped carefully for a "pooper scooper" and decided to try this one. It is working perfectly. I am able to get the poo out of the grass easily and the pan is large enough to accommodate several piles before I have to go empty it. (I have two smaller sized dogs about 15# each.) I read the reviews so I have not snapped the rake handle back into the clip on the pan handle. It is cold weather and I do not want to break it. I just prop the rake against the clip with the rake standing in the pan (almost like it is depicted in the picture except that it is not snapped together). It stands neatly out of the way, looks nice (for a pooper scooper), and is easy to use and does a great job. I am thrilled to not have to be stooping all of the time to "clean" the yard.
