I've been looking for new house numbers for our address, and was thinking these might be good. First of all, make sure you follow the wiring of the black and white wire being the positive 12 volts and the all white wire is the negative side. See my pictures. Now that the proper wiring is out of the way, the number 1 draws .072 amps and 0.87 watts at 12 volts input. You can turn the voltage down and it will dim down from there also.Note that these do not include a power supply with it, so that is something else you will need.My first impression was that this was going to be very good, but then the number actually came apart easily in my hand simply while turning it over and looking at it on the top and bottom. See pictures. It is silicon glued in place between the black number area of the front and a combination of clear and opaque Plexiglass or other type of clear and opaque plastic on the back side, so the light illuminates the back side. So it really wasn't glued very well together, and It seems like the silicon is not attaching at all to the clear plastic. It's very stuck to the black plastic however. There is also a small hole that the wire runs through, and that should probably be plugged up with silicon to seal it. It was not. So you will most likely have to do some silicon sealing, and maybe even some repair assembly work for this to hold up. However, the price is pretty good and if you only need three numbers this works out if you deal with the other issues first. The inside of the area has a number of what looks like strip light LEDs, that are siliconed covered at the connections to make it somewhat water sealed. It looks like it is hand done as opposed to being custom made exactly for the number itself. So, with that in mind, I suspect other lights are similar to this, but be aware that you may have these coming apart issues to deal with.

I recently purchased these lighted house numbers, and I'm quite pleased. The 4-inch size is perfect; they're large enough to be seen from a distance, yet not overly bulky. The light they emit is a soft, uniform 4500K, which is just right for nighttime visibility. No harsh glare, just a clear, easy-to-read number. I appreciate that they're designed for outdoor use, with protection against the elements. I live in an area that gets its fair share of rain and snow, so that’s important. The installation instructions seem clear enough, and I like that they offer video instructions too.
