Size 10/12 for almost 10yr old who is on the thin side kind of in-between a 7/8 and a 10/12 needs a 9 technically lol .... I bought literally all 4 color packs they had they are long which is great for school my child has LOTS of colors to choose from which is cool and has extras for the next yr ...they are thin but they don't seem to be see threw at all maybe just don't wear dark underwear with the light colors lol...I have not washed them because my child hasn't worn them yet so i can't say if they shrink or how much if they do but I'm sure they will shrink a bit when washed and dried moat clothes do shrink with first wash and dry...my child has a little tiny bit of extra room they can only shrink up a very small amount and i can not say if they hold up or if they fall apart but i think they will be fine i bought them for the hot times of the school yr when my child needs shorts they will definitely pass on school appropriate dress code

They are wonderful. It is like not wearing anything at all. I would compare them to the feel of yoga pants. They come to right above the knee.

I got these for my daughter for this summer and they are a perfect fit. The size was what I expected and fit her well. I don't like her wearing really short shorts and these are about mid to low thigh, a couple inches above her knees. The quality was pretty good and I'd say definitely worth the price. They will be able to be passed down to my next daughter. She says they are comfortable and not too tight around the waist.

I have a tall and slim 8 year old who is in between size 8 and 10. I went for the 10 because I wanted to make sure they would be long enough on her. She has some space in the waist to grow but it isn't too loose (stays on her waist). Also if they shrink some then that's fine. She's been wearing and playing in them and they are still holding up. Great for under dresses as well!
