This case is soft shelled, and has a rubberized texture. (That’s not what I expected, based on photos.) It has a handle to carry it like a brief case, and 3-digit combination lock too.This case is about the size of a binder. The first opening has two sleeves with pouches /pockets, perfect for passports and other identification.The next section is an accordion file secured with a zipper. This is great for documents!The third, and final section, has a large pouch /pocket on one side. And a deeper open space on the other side. This is suitable for a book, laptop maybe, or something larger like that.Overall it’s a good case, and can store a lot. I only wish it was hard shell.

This is a fireproof and water-resistant document storage case. It's soft-sided, zippered, and has quite a few pockets and compartments to keep all your things organized. I was surprised to see the material the case is made of isn't that thick. I'm pretty confident it would survive a short exposure to a hot fire, but I'm not so confident it would survive a longer-term exposure to a hot fire. I would have liked it if the manufacturer had published a single-shot video showing the case in a hot fire for at least 20 minutes and then shown the condition of the contents. For now, I'm going to have to just assume it will keep my valuables safe.
