I received 8lbs 12oz. I was really hopeful for this material. I've ordered scraps from others that were great, but this just did not meet expectations. There are only 5 what I would consider large pieces. And ALL are marked up with a pen or sharpie. All others are my hand size or smaller. Most are too small to do anything with. Not worth the money, just buy a hide instead.

The first time I ordered, the leather matched the pictures displayed on the listing in terms of quality and I was quite happy when I received it in the mail; however, the second time I ordered I received a box with a LOT of unusable pieces, some velcro straps, dirt, and a shavings of metal, as if it had been swept off of the floor and shoved into the box it was shipped in. The first picture is of the partially used leather from my first order on the left, with the second order on the right. If I had received similar pieces as the first order I would have ordered double or triple the amount in my next order. I don’t know that it’s worth the risk of ordering a third time. I’m disappointed in the quality that I just received.

Most of the scraps fall apart, but a few of the bigger ones are good for small projects.to the seller: Just keep the smaller scraps they are useless.

All 10lbs of Product was light brown.Still good product with large enough scraps to make holsters, sheaths, luggage tags, bi-folds, etc.Just know when you order this stuff, they are off cuts from a shop mass producing leather products, you get what you get based upon what they were cutting at the time. If it’s an order of 100 light brown purses, you’ll get light brown scraps.If the description noted that, it would set realistic expectations and the reviews wouldn’t be anything less than 5 stars.Overall, Not bad for the cost as long as your intended works are small as described above.
