These 3/8” bolts are solid brass, they were very easy to install and they give a nice tight fit.These will be my go to if I ever have to use again.

I've ordered this product before and never had any problems. I just recently reordered and the first package arrived with mismatched nuts and bolts (Nuts were larger than the bolts). I figured it was just a fluke and notified amazon. Amazon responded and informed me not to worry about returning the defective kit, another one would be sent at no charge. Unbelievably, the next kit arrives with the same issue (nuts are too big for the bolts). I emailed the manufacturer about the issue.

I had previously tried stainless steel bolts to counter what appears to be corrosive tap water, but the heads were too small, and the rubber washers squished out of place, causing serious leakage.THESE, on the other hand, have a bigger diameter (though they still fit easily through the tank boltholes), so they don't cause leaks. And since they're solid brass (unlike the brass-plated ones which corrode heavily here north of Houston), I'm confident they'll be leak-free for years.
