Great kit and comes at a great deal. I already had a roll of screen and spline laying in my garage but couldn't find my tools to rebuild my bedroom screen coverings. This came in today and matches the description to a T. It's identical to my missing tools so I'm fully satisfied. I'm starting my rebuilds tomorrow and even have plenty of extra spline in case the one I have ends up being less than I thought. Worthwhile kit for screen repair so I am recommending it. Thank you.

Last summer I had a couple things on the patio outside our sliding glass door that fell over from the winds of a tornado that skimmed us before I got it enclosed. Luckily it just tore the screen on it and didn't break the glass! So I needed to replace the screen.I got the screen but it's been a long time since I had to replace any screens and I couldn't find my little wheely thing to get it and the spline into the little groove. I've used a screwdriver before in a pinch but didn't want to risk cutting the fiberglass screen, but then this set popped into my offers so I grabbed it. I took the screen door out and brought it inside and did the repair, it's all good to go now and ready for whenever nicer warm spring temps reach us LOL.The set I got has the steel roller that has 2 diff ends on it, the pick to pull the old spline out and the 32 feet of spline. Pay attention to which end you use on the roller according to the type of screen your using and then installing the spline. If you use the wrong end installing fiberglass screen it's very likely it'll cut it! You usually can't reuse the old spline as they get dried out and brittle, but the screen I can if I need to redo a smaller window screen, so I'll save it.Regular price $ 6.99 per the listing for the set I got and there's a 10% off coupon, better price than I can get this locally. I had never even entertained the idea of changing a screen before, but lo and behold the time came, I was up to the job. I googled the process and learned a few new words, and knew exactly what I needed to complete the process. This kit had everything - except the screen- that I needed, and the price was reasonable. From start to finish, the hook helped remove the old spline. (New word -Spline is a type of vinyl cording that fixes the screening material into the frame.) New spline is also included along with the screen rolling tool which pushes the spline into place to secure your screen. These tools were functional and made installation easy, even for someone with no experience or skills. These tools are durable and I'll be able to use again and again. My screen door looks great!
