These are very nice shorts. My husband says they are very comfortable and they fit true to size. They are lightweight and have decent stretch to them and seem to be made well. Pockets are deep enough for him to slide his phone and wallet in.

I like most that these are lightweight, while still being durable for rugged adventuring and use. The lightweight material makes them extremely comfortable as they stay cool and you really don’t feel them on. They are also shaped perfectly and allow free movement. Waist was perfect with the button and zipper for a normal look and function while have some elastic for forgiveness in between sizes. Pockets are big enough for anything I carry and they are styled like traditional cargo shorts which I like. Fit as expected for size.

Size chart was misleading and inaccurate

I typically wear a 36" waist pant, so I ordered these shorts in size Large (34"-36" waist according to the sizing chart), as they're made with stretch fabric and an elastic waistband. I feel like X-Large would have fit me better, as these shorts are snug around my waist. If you're on the cusp between two sizes, as I am, then I recommend ordering the larger size.Otherwise, these are decent shorts. The fabric is very light and a little bit stretchy, and they have lots of utility with 5 zippered pockets (the zipper pull tab extensions are a bit obtrusive, but can be easily removed).

He said the drawstring & elastic at the waist are nice features, he doesn't have to worry about wearing a belt. He said they run true-to-size; he also likes that they don't look too casual, he can dress them up with a polo shirt. He would order again, in a different color.
