These necklaces do light up and work and look fun. However, when you turn them on they only last a few seconds before they shut off again.

I bought these for my daughter's birthday party at a roller rink to keep track of 20 kids easily. However, in order for the lights to activate, it's more than vibration that is needed. They have to be hit/bounced much harder. Also, the cords rip out of the stars pretty easy.

The good: I was pleasantly surprised that all of the necklaces lit up. I had expected at least one or two duds. Some required extra smacking before they flashed, but all eventually lit up. They're fun colors and very bright. I like the colorful ribbon necklaces they're attached to.The bad: they're a softish rubber. Similar to a soft gummy bear in consistency. Unfortunately they have been badly mangled and misshapen by being crammed into the box. They look melted. Many of the ribbons are snagged and have loose threads sticking out.I don't know if they'll regain something like a normal shape if I hang them somewhere for a bit, but my initial impressions are unfavorable. I don't want to hand these out to kids for Halloween like I had originally intended.

I order these to throw as I'm in a night parade. The kids love this as do the adults. Will be reordering. Bright color.

2 of the 24 did not light up. I expected them to be harder, but they are a soft squishy material. Because of this some of them came sort of misshapen and flat on one side. Only kept them because they’re for my kid’s goody bags, and he liked them.
