Amazing product works great!!

Great for my students at school .

These small, round ice packs are very cute and ideal for things like insect bites/stings, small bruises or other minor ouchies. They chill really rapidly in the freezer and are ready in half an hour. Admittedly, they do not stay cold very long--but there are a lot of them, so it's easy to rotate out a new one from the freezer as the prior one ceases to be cold.These are also microwaveable for hot therapy, BUT be careful. They came with no instructions on the box, or on the packs themselves, but the listing online says they are to be microwaved no more than 20 seconds. I put one in the microwave for 15 seconds and it nearly exploded!!! The packet inflated like a balloon and the gel inside was audibly boiling. I opened the microwave immediately and whisked the packet out onto the counter to get it to cool down, and it did not actually rupture or melt, but it looked and sounded like a near miss, and the plastic layer on top was a bit tacky like it had nearly melted through. So if you have an American microwave, maybe be a bit cautious and stick to ten seconds, and cautiously take it 5 seconds at a time from that point on if it's not hot yet.All that said, it really did get nice and hot and it stayed that way for a significant time. The white textile side is slightly insulating while the plastic side is more intense against the skin. These definitely work for hot therapy! Just be careful with heating them.
