Bets it use with an angle and do not use a lot of pressure because it can leave marks. Idk if if it because it is new but It left black transfer marks on my film,

This film squeegee works pretty well. I don't like to cut my developed film into shorter, more usable lengths so drying is a bit iffy. While I do have the vertical space to hang 120 film no problem, 135 poses a real concern since I and up having to clip it end to end, making a U shape hanging which doesn't dry too well without watermarks. After my final wash with some wetting agent, I was able to hang one side, squeegee the roll of 135 film and hang up the other end. I didn't squeeze too hard and got most of the moisture off of the film, but thankfully the next day the film appears to be fully dry with no signs of watermark, unlike my previous attempt before I tried the squeegee. So yes, it works, and can help shorten the drying time and reduce the chance of watermarks. It's also nice that there is an extra set of rubber blades in the box so you can swap them out when the original ones start to wear out.

While I haven't invested into 120 format yet, I do use 35mm, and thankfully this makes drying the exposures so much easier. The material quality is really nice, the rubber has not scratched the film at all, though keeping them clean definitely helps prevent that, and the entire thing glides super smoothly which is super satisfying.Overall I am very impressed with it and would gladly recommend it
